I was spending a dreary day at work, wondering when I would get to travel next and where I would go, when Gmail notification popped up with “The Glass Bangle has commented on ‘Who I am‘”.
I logged on to WordPress and what do you know, I have been nominated for a Liebster Award! Yay me! That’s the second one!
This time’s award is slightly more demanding than last time. I have to answer 10 (fun) questions, pick 10 bloggers with less than 200 followers, whose blogs I like and come up with 10 questions for them too. The first bit is easy-peasy, but the second bit’s going to be tricky because I know of nobody who has fewer than 200 followers – everyone I read is way beyond that number.
So, I’m just going to answer The Glass Bangle’s questions and keep the second half for another time when I have enough bloggers in my list who have 200 or less following them and who totally deserve it. And when I do, I will update it here. Until then, here’s a little bit more about me.
Which is your favourite time of the day ?
Late afternoon, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. The world is bathed in muted Sun-gold and everything looks magical.
Given a chance to relive one day in your life which day would that be ?
*Hmmmmm…* The day I sat by the Ganges on my holiday to Rishikesh.
Which super power would you like to possess ?
The power to get into the minds of everyone and know what they’re thinking.
Which is your favourite aroma, something which makes you take in huge breaths ?
I have two: the smell of Petrol and rain on parched land.
Write one word which symbolises the person you are.
Experimental.
Have you fallen in love with any object at first sight ?
Yes. Pencils.
If you are given a day free of all responsibilities, a day to do whatever you wanted, what would you do ?
I would drive out of town, lie under the open sky on a floral blanket in a lush green field and read a Neil Gaiman book. Alternatively, I would go to Hard Rock Cafe and spend a day eating their Chicken Haystack Salad, drinking their drinks and reading a book. There’s a telephone exchange building near my home with a really, really tall aerial tower thingie. I might climb that too.
What’s your favourite comfort food?
Dal chaawal.
Which movie character has taken residence in your heart ?
Will Smith’s in The Pursuit of Happyness.
Which is the weirdest combination of food that you’ve had ?
Chinese Bhel. I first had it 15 years ago, and I still cannot understand it!
Congrats on the award! Interesting responses to the questions… enjoyed knowing a little bit more about you. :)
Thanks TGND. :)
